After last January’s postponement, Ann Demeulemeester is the Guest of Honour at Pitti Immagine Uomo 102. In fact, the Belgian designer herself was the curator of the special project hosted at the Stazione Leopolda dedicated to her and her poetic fashion made of contrasts, capable of covering a whole gamut of emotions with clothes that reveal many layers of “soul.” The protagonist of the project is her simple yet incisive, dark and glamorous aesthetic, an expression of ‘noir romanticism’ with an intriguing mix of edgy rebellion and sophistication. The brand, which was purchased by Claudio Antonioli in 2020, is now embarking on a path of renewal and repositioning in the luxury segment, while remaining faithful to its original and distinctive origins.

“The curatorial work carried out on the Archive on this occasion goes beyond the recovery of memories that are useful for citing in new collections and becomes a real act of fashion: an artistic-aesthetic intervention born out of a project design urgency, here and now. A gift for the whole Pitti community,” said Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communications & Events at Pitti Immagine.
